Netflix has announced the start of production on “One Piece” Season 2. They announced it through a fun video where the actors that play the beloved Straw Hats arrived one by one in Cape Town, South Africa, and embraced each other with joy. You can watch the video below!

“One Piece” Season 2

After a great reception of the first season of the live-action “One Piece” fans have been excited to see what comes next. We already know via the co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer Matt Owens that well-known characters like Dr Kureha and fan favorites like Chopper will be part of the next season. As well as some of the Baroque Works characters that make life difficult for the Straw Hat Pirates.

Here are some of the new names behind the characters released by Netflix so far:

Previously announced new cast members joining season two include Brendan Sean Murray as Brogy, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Clive Russell as Crocus, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, Rob Colletti as Wapol, Ty Keogh as Dalton, and Werner Coetser as Dorry. More cast members will be released soon.

Returning cast members include Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy, and Michael Dorman as Gold Roger.
