Wind Breaker is currently one of the hottest new shonen anime on the block. Apparently, CloverWorks (Spy x Family, Bocchi the Rock!, Black Butler -Public School Arc-) has been doing a wonderful job with the anime adaptation of the manga of the same name by Satoru Nii. A wonderful job indeed. So much so that they’re already greenlighting it for a second season on the same day the finale of season 1 aired/streamed.

Wind Breaker: Season 2 Details

At the very least, the animation seems very well done.

Crunchyroll (along with the anime’s official Twitter account) is proud to announce that Wind Breaker will be getting a second season on the eve of the broadcast of the finale of the first on Thursday, June 27, 2024. According to them, this second season will make its grand debut sometime in 2025. They don’t have any more specific a release date for us than that. We’ll just have to wait for that at a later date.

Of course, Crunchyroll will be the one streaming Wind Breaker season 2 when it does make its debut, and in over 200 countries and territories worldwide to boot. Just as they have been for season 1. Speaking of: you can catch up with the now-complete first season only on Crunchyroll.

Want an idea of what Wind Breaker is all about to see if you want to watch it? Well, don’t worry. Crunchyroll has an official synopsis to help us out with that. You can check out that synopsis below:

Welcome to Furin High School, an institution infamous for its population of brawny brutes who solve every conflict with a show of strength. Some of the students even formed a group, Bofurin, which protects the town. Haruka Sakura, a first-year student who moved in from out of town, is only interested in one thing: fighting his way to the top.
