“Despicable Me 4” is ready to hit theaters on July 3rd. To celebrate the new Illumination animated film, the Minions have taken over the Las Vegas Sphere! Take a look below!

Well it’s actually one specific Minion from “Despicable Me 4” that we are going to meet in the few film named, Mega Jerry. What better place to showcase the character than the Sphere. The activation began on Monday, June 24th and will run through Sunday June 30th.

According to NBC Universal in the 90-second sequence, Mega Jerry takes in the visual splendor of Las Vegas for the first time. Through a variety of moves, Jerry is made to look like here is right there with the public. He looks towards a few windows at the Venetian Hotel, leading to a few moments of embarrassment. Jerry also flirts with the riders on the High Roller, and his sightline follows the direction and speed of the LINQ Monorail to give passengers the sensation that they are being watched. He even snacks on a party bus. Illumination made sure Mega Jerry was able to be as interactive as possible.

Despicable Me 4” is following the huge success of the previous film in the franchise “Minions: The Rise of Gru”. The film was to earn almost a billion dollars worldwide. Overall the “Despicable Me” franchise has made over $4.6 billion dollars. This makes it the highest-grossing animated film franchise.

In this new chapter, Gru, voiced by Steve Carrell, and Lucy, voiced by Kristen Wiig, along with their girls, Margo, voiced by Miranda Cosgrove, Edith, voiced by Dana Gaier, and Agnes, voiced by Madison Polan, are welcoming a new member to the family, Gru Jr., who loves tormenting his dad. Meanwhile, Gru is facing a new nemesis named Maxime Le Mal, voiced by Will Ferrell, and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina, voiced by Sofia Vergara.

“Despicable Me 4” is directed by Chris Renaud, co-directed by Patrick Delage, and hits theaters on July 3rd.
