If you love diving into true crime content or trying to puzzle out a mystery before your favorite on-screen detective, you’ll understand Pip Fitz-Amobi. Today Netflix revealed a first look at the upcoming series adaptation of A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder. Check out the trailer below.
Here’s the official synopsis of the series from Netflix:
Five years ago, schoolgirl Andie Bell was murdered by her boyfriend Sal Singh. Case closed. The police know he did it. Everyone in town knows he did it. But smart and single minded Pip Fitz-Amobi isn’t so sure and she’s determined to prove it. And if Sal Singh isn’t a murderer and the real killer is still out there, how far will they go to keep Pip from the truth?
A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder is based on the New York Times bestselling mystery novel by Holly Jackson. The series stars Emma Myers (Wednesday) as Pip.

In addition to Myers, the cast also includes Anna Maxwell Martin, Gary Beadle, Mathew Baynton, India Lillie Davies, Rahul Pattni, Henry Ashton, Mitu Panicucci, Orla Hill, Ephraim O.P. Sampson, Carla Woodcock, Yasmin Al-Khudhairi, Jessica Webber, Matthew Khan, Georgia Aaron, Oliver Wickham, Adam Astill, Annabel Mullion, Jude Morgan-Collie, Raiko Gohara, Asha Banks, and Yali Topol Margalith.
The series comes from lead writer Poppy Cogan (Red Rose, Dangerous Liaisons) along with Zia Ahmed, Ajoke Ibironke, and Ruby Thomas. Dolly Wells (Good Posture) directs.
A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder will include six 45-minute episodes. Moonage Pictures, a BBC Studios label, and Netflix co-produced the series. It will first air in the UK and Ireland on BBC Three and iPlayer before hitting Netflix for US viewers on August 1.
