Academy Award Winner Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron reunite in a new family rom-com coming to Netflix, A Family Affair. The film tells the story of an incredibly complicated love affair. Zara (Joey King) is the assistant to movie star Chris Cole (Efron). That is until Chris falls in love with her mother. With the help of her best friend (Liza Koshy), and a few breakdowns we see Zara navigate what it means to see her mother as a woman for the first time and more.
I had a chance to sit down with Director Richard Lagravenese to discuss the film, what makes a great rom-com, and what he’d give as his breakup gift!
