ATTACK on TITAN: The Musical ~ Details
ATTACK on TITAN: The Musical is proud to announce that they are now selling tickets for their show directly from their official website. Originally, this live-action 2.5D musical made its world premiere back in January 2023, but alas, it was only in Osaka and Tokyo. This showing on October 11-13, 2024 will be the musical’s very first international debut at New York City Center (131 W. 55th Street).
As you might have guessed, ATTACK on TITAN: The Musical is an adaptation of the Attack on Titan manga by Hajime Isayama. Go Ueki (HYPNOSISMIC -Division Rap Battle- Rule the Stage) is the director behind this musical. Masafumi Hata is the writer for the same, while KEN THE 390 is responsible for music supervision, and Kaori Miura is responsible for the lyrics. Actually, speaking of Isayama, he’s actually quite ecstatic about this musical. Don’t believe me? Then why not read Isayama’s words for yourself below:
When I saw the production in Tokyo, I was floored by how powerful it was. I felt that a musical was the perfect medium to express the story of ATTACK on TITAN. The action and the songs by the performers have created a new ATTACK on TITAN that is different from the manga or the anime series. They have created such an amazing show, and I cannot wait for everyone to see it in New York. Please look forward to the opening.
