Chris Hemsworth Rolls Out With Transformers/G.I. Joe Crossover Movie
Chris Hemsworth is no stranger to Transformers, he’s voicing a younger version of Optimus Prime in the upcoming animated feature Transformers One. However, Deadline reports that he’s also involved with the upcoming Transformers/G.I. Joe crossover film.
The seeds were planted for a crossover between the two Hasbro brands in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts last year. That film renewed faith and audience love of the Robots in Disguise with a nice box office total and was well-reviewed. This wouldn’t be the first time the two have crossed paths, though; they’ve also done so in comic books going back to the 1980s.
We don’t know very much about the film’s other details. It should star Anthony Ramos, who was introduced to the Autobots in Rise of the Beasts and given an invitation to the G.I. Joe branch.
Chris Hemsworth can be seen in theaters in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga as the villain Dementus. As we said before, he’s voicing Optimus Prime in Transformers One, which releases in theaters on September 20th, 2024. Lately, he’s been pretty busy after taking a bit of a break due to finding a family history of dementia. He can also be seen in Extraction 2 on Netflix, which was one of the most popular films released on the platform last year.
