Academy Award Winner Nicole Kidman (EXPATS) and Zac Efron (Iron Claw) reunite in a new family rom-com coming to Netflix, A Family Affair. So, in this unexpected love story, the film sets off humorous situations for a young woman, her mother, and her celebrity boss as they navigate the complexities of relationships, intimacy, and self-discovery. In other words, Zara (Joey King) is the assistant to movie star Chris Cole (Zac Efron. That is until Chris falls in love with her mother.

So, in the trailer we see Zara talking with her bestie (Liza Koshy) discussing how she walked in on her mother and boss in the throws of passion. Zara is concerned because she’s worked for Chris for two years and knows him inside and out. So, she’s worried he’s going to hurt her mother. But we also see that her mother (Nicole Kidman) is on a journey of self-discovery, and possible mistakes like this are for growth and moving on. Of course, Zara is far from okay with any of this. But, possibly with the help of a wise Kathy Bates everything will be alright.
