Another day, another terrifying tease from NEON. Today we have a new trailer for Longlegs. The highly anticipated horror/psychological thriller stars Maika Monroe as a federal agent tracking down a serial killer, played by Nicolas Cage.

The marketing for this one has been excellent, with plenty of creepy teases. Today’s trailer dropped with another ominous message: 

“And he had power to give a spirit to the image of the beast, and that the image of the beast should speak, and should cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”

Here’s the official synopsis for Longlegs:

FBI Agent Lee Harker (Monroe) is a gifted new recruit assigned to the unsolved case of an elusive serial killer (Cage). As the case takes complex turns, unearthing evidence of the occult, Harker discovers a personal connection to the merciless killer and must race against time to stop him before he claims the lives of another innocent family.

The film comes from director Osgood “Oz” Perkins (Gretel & Hansel). 

Longlegs premieres in theaters July 12.
