Halloween Horror Nights in both Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando have both posted teaser videos to their social media accounts. Check it out below.

The teasers look like they’re showing off some of the new houses and themes of the year, with fans trying to guess online what it could be. The official YouTube for Horror Nights has this description for the video.

The gate has been opened, and there’s no containing the insatiable evil that will break through from beyond. This is where horror lives.

Now obviously this could be for a variety of things. They pan to a sewer grate, which obviously evokes memories of It, there’s also a bit of a Stranger Things vibe going on, but they’re already caught up on that with the previous year’s houses based on Stranger Things season four.

This also could just be for the big overall theme of the event and a new bunch of created characters. We’ll have to see when we get closer to the Halloween season. Universal Studios Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights is open even earlier than before with dates starting August 30th through November 3rd. Hollywood hasn’t announced a schedule of dates yet.
