What’s better than one of the best shows on television? Even more of it! That’s right, the folks behind Bluey keep surprising us with additional content. Just when when we thought ‘The Sign’ and ‘Surprise’ might just be end of the season, if not the series…. Yes, Heeler family fans, there’s still more to come this summer!

Here’s what we know: we’re not getting another extended-length episode like ‘The Sign.’ Nor are we getting regular-length episodes, either. Not to fret, though. What we are getting is twenty (20!) Bluey “Minisodes” instead. The fun-sized minisodes consist of “one- to three minute shorts,” again coming from Ludo Studio and show creator Joe Brumm.

Bluey returns with Minisodes!

If you’re not already familiar with Bluey (and if you’re a parent of small children, shame on you), here’s the official synopsis from Disney and Ludo Studio:

Created and written by Joe Brumm, the series follows Bluey, a lovable and inexhaustible blue heeler dog who lives with her Mum, Dad, and little sister, Bingo. Bluey uses her limitless energy to play games that unfold in unpredictable and hilarious ways, bringing her family and the whole neighborhood into her world of fun. The show is Produced by the multiple Emmy® Award-winning Ludo Studio for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and BBC Studios Kids & Family. The series airs and streams to U.S. and global audiences (outside of Australia, New Zealand and China) across Disney Channel, Disney Jr. and Disney+ through a global broadcasting deal between BBC Studios Kids & Family and Disney Branded Television.

Most parents that watch the show can’t say enough positive things about it. Its relatable topics and on-point humor make the show a must watch for parents…. And a great watch for everyone else. Don’t believe us? The recent, extended episode ‘The Sign’ ranks as both the most-viewed Bluey and Disney Jr. episode premiere ever, with 10.4 million views.

Fun-sized and ready for summer!

The minisodes will “highlight funny and sweet moments featuring Bluey and Bingo, leaning into playful interactions and games that further explore the characters and world of…” the Heeler girls. The only downside is the release date: We’re going to have to wait until July to see them.

Most episodes are streaming now on Disney+. However, if you want to see the “banned” episode of ‘Dad Baby,’ you’re going to have to venture over to the show’s official YouTube channel. We’ll save you the Google search: you can watch it HERE.
