For a limited time this spring, you won’t just be able to experience the action of The Fall Guy in theaters, but live right in front of you. Universal Pictures is collaborating with 87North to bring “The Fall Guy Stuntacular Pre-Show” to Universal Studios Hollywood.
California theme park guests can head over to WaterWorld from April 27 to May 19 to catch the show. The all-new entertaining performance features an original storyline designed to provide a peek behind the curtain of how stunt performances are designed and brought to life, while celebrating the artistry of the film industry’s unsung heroes – the stunt performers.
“We make movies to give audiences an experience, and what better way to amplify 87North’s brand of action storytelling than to evolve into live events,” said The Fall Guy film director David Leitch. “We are so thankful to our partners at Universal who embraced our ideas and gave us the platform to do something really fun and immersive with The Fall Guy.”
87North Productions, the world-renowned production and action design company founded by Leitch and producer Kelly McCormick, produces the show. Fans have seen 87North stunts in huge features like Bullet Train, Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde, John Wick, and more.
“The Fall Guy Stuntacular Pre-Show” at Universal Studios Hollywood will use the existing WaterWorld set. However, it will feature new stunts and an exclusive performance only seen at the park.
