in some very exciting news, AMC+ has released a second trailer for the upcoming season 2 of their hit series, Interview with the Vampire!

Season one of the hit series concluded with Louis (Jacob Anderson) and Claudia (Bailey Bass) killing Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid). Then the two fled to Europe in search of others like themselves. Season two will delve deeper into Louis and Armond’s encounter. It will also explore the impact of their love affair on both the past and present. Anticipation is high to see how the new season will unfold!

In the trailer, Interview with the Vampire doubles down on the theme of “Memory is a Monster“. It seems throughout season 2 Louis’s suppressed or complused memories will resurface. Armand seems to have a hand in manipulating Louis over the years making him no better, possibly worse, than Lestat.

So, starring alongside Jacob Anderson, Sam Reid, Assad Zaman, Delainey Hayles, Ben Daniels, and Eric Bogosian in Interview with the Vampire come a few new characters. Also in casting change-up news, Delainey Hayes will take over the role of Claudia after Bailey Bass was unable to return for Season 2. Ben Daniels will also star in Season 2 as Santiago.

Other recurring guest stars include Roxane Duran (The White Ribbon) as Madeleine and Bally Gill (Slow Horses) as “Real Rashid.” Then, according to the Immortal Universe Instagram, David Costible (Breaking Bad) will be joining as a Guest Star.
