Delicious in Dungeon (also known by its Japanese title of Dungeon Meshi, lit. “Dungeon Meal”) is one of the most unique manga in the manga world. This manga by Ryōko Kui basically a fantasy story centered around cooking up monsters into delicious dishes, but there’s so much more to it than that. The entire manga is a major success in terms of worldbuilding, story, characterization, and everything you need for one banger of a story.

So it’s no surprise why the anime adaptation that premiered on Netflix on January 4, 2024 is such a hit. What is a surprise though is just how quickly Studio Trigger (Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners) are cranking out new seasons of Delicious in Dungeon at a breakneck pace. I mean, what else do you call it when they already have the new and third official trailer up for the upcoming season 2? Don’t believe me? Delicious in Dungeon season 2: Details

KADOKAWAanime has just dropped a new third official trailer for Delicious in Dungeon season 2 on YouTube. Said trailer not only shows off just how quickly the anime is progressing through the manga’s story, but it also gives us an idea of when we’ll get to see that season 2 to boot. The very end of that trailer reveals that said season 2 will make its premiere sometime in April 2024. That’s less than a month away as of this writing. Thus, we won’t have to wait long to see what delectable delights it will bring us.

Alas though, the trailer doesn’t mention where we’ll be seeing Delicious in Dungeon season 2. Yes, Netflix is streaming season 1. However, some confirmation that they will be streaming season 2 will be nice.
