You either love Ready Or Not or you haven’t seen Ready Or Not. The movie launched the directing team of Radio Silence into the stratosphere, and gave us a hell of a performance from leading lady Samara Weaving. Now, it appears that Ready Or Not 2 is in the works. The rumor comes from Jeff Sneider, who has a decent track record on these types of things. Now, the one development is that Radio Silence isn’t currently directing the film. That honor would go to Adam Robitel (The Taking Of Deborah Logan, Insidious: The Last Key, Escape Room). Sneider also went on to say that Samara Weaving will return to play Grace once again.

The first film saw Grace on her wedding day have to deal with the sinister game that her eccentric in-laws forced her to take part in.

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett directed Ready or Not. In addition to Samara Weaving, the cast included Adam Brody, Mark O’Brien, Henry Czerny, and Andie MacDowell.

The first film gave us a mythology where the Le Domas family has made a deal with the unholiest of the unholy, Satan. That deal requires them to take part in deadly wedding night traditions, where random games are played. One of the games is a hunt, for the bride. The first film ended with Grace overcoming the odds and the entire Le Domas family exploding into bloody mist while their mansion burned down.

There’s a bit that can be done with that premise, we’ll have to see how they do it in this sequel.

As with any rumor, don’t take it to heart until its announced by the studio.
