Snack Shack is the new coming-of-age film from writer/director Adam Rehmeier (Dinner in America). The film follows two best friends, AJ and Moose, as well as the girl who changes their lives (Mika Abdalla) and the mentor who influences them all (Nick Robinson).

So, during the film, AJ and Moose decide to take over the local pool’s dilapidated snack shack. The two are hoping to achieve financial success. However, their dreams are disrupted when they encounter Brooke. Brooke is a charismatic lifeguard whose presence jeopardizes their ambitious summer goals and tests the strength of their friendship.

I had a chance to sit down with the stars of the film, Nick Robinson and Mika Abdalla to discuss the importance of coming-of-age stories, as well as their hilarious time filming, Snack Shack. Also, if you haven’t read my review, make sure to read it here!
