No need to keep wishing… Walt Disney Animation Studios’ latest feature Wish will finally hit streaming next month. The film will begin streaming on Disney+ April 3.
Wish transports viewers to the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force—a little ball of boundless energy called Star.
In the Golden Globe-nominated movie, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe—the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico—to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen.
Wish features the voices of Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose as Asha and Chris Pine as King Magnifico. The extended voice cast also includes Alan Tudyk, Victor Garber, Harvey Guillén, Angelique Cabral, Ramy Youseff, and more.
The film comes from Oscar-winning Frozen director Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn (Raya and the Last Dragon). It features original songs by Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Julia Michaels and Grammy-winning producer/songwriter/musician Benjamin Rice, plus a score by composer Dave Metzger.
In addition to its streaming availability, you can also grab Wish on DVD, Blu-ray, and digital now. In a few weeks, you can stream it on Disney+ starting April 3.
