Snack Shack is the new coming-of-age film from writer/director Adam Rehmeier (Dinner in America). The film follows two best friends, AJ and Moose. So these two decide to take over the local pool’s dilapidated snack shack in hopes of achieving financial success. Their dreams are disrupted when they encounter Brooke, a charismatic lifeguard whose presence jeopardizes their ambitious summer goals and tests the strength of their friendship.

I had a chance to sit down with Adam Rehmeier to discuss the importance of coming-of-age stories, as well as his hilarious upbringing that inspired the film! Also, if you haven’t read my review, make sure to read it here!
