When Emmy-winning series Hacks returns for season 3, it will feature a few new faces. Max announced six guest stars for the upcoming season today.
The newly revealed cast members include Helen Hunt (“Blindspotting,” “Mad About You,” “Twister,” “As Good as it Gets”), Christina Hendricks (“The Buccaneers,” “Good Girls,” “Mad Men,” “Drive”), Christopher Lloyd (“Back to the Future,” “The Tender Bar,” “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”), Dan Bucatinsky (“Air,” “Scandal,” “The Comeback”), George Wallace (“Clean Slate”), and Tony Goldwyn (“Oppenheimer,” “Law & Order,” upcoming film “Ezra”).
The new guest stars will join returning Hacks series leads Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder for season 3. Other returning cast members also include Paul W. Downs, Megan Stalter, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Kaitlin Olson, Christopher McDonald, Mark Indelicato, Rose Abdoo, and Lorenza Izzo.
Season 3 of Hacks picks up a year after Deborah Vance and Ava parted ways. Deborah is riding high off the success of her standup special while Ava pursues new opportunities back in Los Angeles.
The first two seasons of Hacks received numerous award nominations, including nods from the Primetime Emmys, SAG, WGA, Critics Choice, Golden Globes, GLAAD Media, and more.
The series comes from creators and showrunners Paul W. Downs, Lucia Aniello, and Jen Statsky. The trio also executive produce the series, along with Mike Schur, David Miner, and Morgan Sackett.
