Behaviour Interactive’s Dead By Daylight has brought in some of the biggest icons in horror movie history to their game, but now they’re setting their sights on heavy metal. They’re teaming up with Iron Maiden to bring Eddie to the game in a new collection of cosmetics.
Available for purchase now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC, Eddie joins the game with legendary outfits The Dredge, The Doctor, The Deathslinger, and The Oni. These outfits come from the album covers for Powerslave, Somewhere In Time, The X Factor, Piece of Mind, and Senjutsu.
Here’s what Product Manager Kirby Taylor had to say about the collab.
“What an incredibly exciting new collaboration for us to explore. Eddie is such an icon, and flipping through some of his famous appearances to see which Killers we could pair them with was a dream come true. We’re also glad our Survivors can get in on the fun with some killer tour t-shirts. A couple of those even have a little surprise as well, depending on the Survivor, but we’ll leave that up to players to find.”
In addition to the cosmetics, surviors get to join the mix with Very Rare tour shirts for all the game’s original Survivors. If any of these cosmetics are equipped in the match lobby, “Fear of the Dark” will play.
