Netflix has announced the release date for the final season of The Umbrella Academy. The fourth and final season of the series will debut on August 8. All six episodes of the final season will premiere together. All previous seasons featured ten episodes, to the final season will be a bit shorter with only six. In addition to the release date, Netflix has also released a set of character posters for each of the cast.

The Umbrella Academy is based on the comic book series created and written by Gerard Way, illustrated by Gabriel Bá, and published by Dark Horse Comics. The show is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, for Netflix.
