Fresh from NBCU’s TCA, Peacock has released the official trailer for the limited drama series, Apples Never Fall. The series comes from writer, showrunner, and executive producer Melanie Marnich.
Based on Liane Moriarty’s New York Times bestselling novel, Apples Never Fall stars Annette Bening, Sam Neill, Jake Lacy, Alison Brie, Conor Merigan-Turner, and Essie Randles. You can check out the official synopsis from Peacock and the trailer below.
Here’s the synopsis from Peacock:
Apples Never Fall centers on the seemingly picture-perfect Delaney family. Former tennis coaches Stan (Neill) and Joy (Bening) have sold their successful tennis academy and are ready to start what should be the golden years of their lives. While they look forward to spending time with their four adult children (Lacy, Brie, Merrigan-Turner, Randles), everything changes when a wounded young woman knocks on Joy and Stan’s door, bringing the excitement they’ve been missing. But when Joy suddenly disappears, her children are forced to re-examine their parents’ so-called perfect marriage as their family’s darkest secrets begin to surface.
Apples Never Fall also stars Georgia Flood, Jeanine Serralles, and Dylan Thurasingham. It will feature guest appearances from Katrina Lenk, Timm Sharp, Nate Mann, Paula Andrea Placido, Pooja Shah, and Quentin Plair. Marnich wrote all seven episodes of the series while Chris Sweeney and Dawn Shadforth served as directors.
Apples Never Fall will debut all seven of its episodes on Peacock on March 14.
