Suits: LA, the upcoming drama, developed by Aaron Korsch, the original creator, will center around a fresh ensemble led by Ted Black. Ted, a former New York prosecutor, has established a Los Angeles-based law firm that specializes in criminal and entertainment law.

Looks like the Suits spin-off has found its lead with Arrow alum, Stephen Amell. Previously, we shared Suits: LA casting info and we think Amell can tackle the “driven character in the World of Law”.

“Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is going on while events from years ago slowly unravel that led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.”

More about Ted Black and the series is shared in the official logline. “His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is going on while events from years ago slowly unravel that led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.”

Suits: L.A. is currently casting its pilot and is scheduled to begin filming in March 2024 in Vancouver and Los Angeles!
