The Mandalorian is quite possibly one of the best, if not the best, Star Wars series Disney and Lucasfilm have ever made, so it’s not surprising that the upcoming The Mandalorian & Grogu would get so much hype and attention. Especially due to all the mystery surrounding this Star Wars feature film. All we know is that it will continue the story of our titular Mandalorian and his baby Yoda, and that’s it. Anything beyond that is just speculation for now.

The Mandalorian & Grogu: Release Window Details
The DisInsider recently revealed that Disney just had an earnings call, where they revealed a whole bunch of info about their upcoming projects. One of those upcoming projects is none other than The Mandalorian & Grogu. Apparently, Disney plans for this feature-length The Mandalorian (and by extension: Star Wars) film to make its theatrical debut sometime in 2026. Alas, that’s as specific as they got for a release window. We won’t get anything further until we get closer to that year. This hopefully means that we might have some more clarification about that release window later.
Fortunately, we do have some bonus info for you all. ProductionList.com revealed that Disney wants filming for The Mandalorian & Grogu to begin on precisely June 17, 2024. That’s literally just only 4 months away as of this writing. Yes, this still means it will take a while after that before we get any more release window info out of Disney and Lucasfilm. However, now we have a potential range of dates to look forward to. Hopefully without too much Star Wars-flavored agony.
