As it turns out, Crunchyroll didn’t lock most of their previously free with ads anime library behind a paywall, after all. They still maintain a list of free with ads anime, also known as AVOD (advertising video on demand). Alas though, this list keeps changing with each anime season, making it very difficult, if not outright impossible, for anime fans to keep track of which anime is free with ads or not. Fortunately, Crunchyroll seems to have realized that this was not an ideal solution for anime fans. It certainly explains why Crunchyroll is giving us a list of their free with ads anime this month. And just in time for Valentine’s Day to boot.
