Blumhouse and Universal are teaming up for a Wolf Man movie, but that’s not the news of the day. The real news is that Julia Garner is headlining the movie from director Leigh Whannell. She’s joined by Christopher Abbott. It was previously announced that Abbott would take over from Ryan Gosling in the film. The film is written by Leigh Whannell, Corbett Tuck, Lauren Schuker Blum, and Rebecca Angelo.
The story follows Garner as a mother whose family is being terrorized by a lethal predator. Jason Blum, Ryan Gosling, Ken Kao, Bea Sequeira, Mel Turner, and Whannell are producing the film.
Garner is known for roles in Ozark, Inventing Anna, The Assistant, and The Royal Hotel. She’ll be seen in the upcoming film, Apartment 7A from Paramount. Leigh Whannell is known for directing The Invisible Man and writing Saw.
As for other details about the film, we don’t have any concrete details. It’s unknown when it begins production or who else is starring in the film.
