Circle 6 is known for changing the way we digest and enjoy our wrestling needs. This past weekend the promotion held a double header event, with King of the Deathmatch on December 30th and Barroom Blitz on December 31st from the Knucklehead in Hollywood, CA.

There was no happier ending to 2023 than to have one of the best standouts of the year in MAO, the current and defending DDT Universal champion, defending his championship against legendary Spyder Nate Webb in a matchup that no one expected to go the way it did. MAO is by far one of the independent wrestlers who is making the most of his appearances, especially with Circle 6. Whether it was him rocking out during the Minoru Suzuki Karaoke show, to his hard-hitting match against AJ Gray, to his first time appearance in the KOTDM tournament.

What happened at Barroom Blitz this past Sunday will probably go down as one of the highlights of the promotion, as they were able to promote and present for the first time an international title defense as the DDT Wrestling Universal championship was defended in one of the more unique ways a championship can be defended. I could explain the title defense and go over the results, but as a LA native this is one of the matchups you just have to watch. Luckily for me, the promotion has uploaded the full match up on YouTube. Check it out below.
