Prime Video is ready to bring the action again with Reacher Season 2. In 2022 Prime Video released the first season of Reacher based on the book KIlling Floor; we are all glad they did because the Star of the series Alan Ritchson shined as Jack Reacher. The first season was full of action, mystery, and suspense, making you want more. Well, Reacher fans are getting that “more” when Reacher season 2 (based on Bad Luck and Trouble) releases on December 15 on Prime Video. And thanks to our friends over at Prime Video I was able to get an early look at the new season and it did not disappoint. You can check out my non-spoiler review below.

Reacher Season 2 Synopsis

Reacher Season Two begins when veteran military police investigator Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) receives a coded message that the members of his former U.S. Army unit, the 110th MP Special Investigations, are being mysteriously and brutally murdered one by one. Pulled from his drifter lifestyle, Reacher reunites with three of his former teammates turned chosen family to investigate, including Frances Neagley (Maria Sten); Karla Dixon (Serinda Swan), a forensic accountant for whom Reacher has long had a soft spot; and fast-talking, switchblade-wielding family man David O’Donnell (Shaun Sipos).

Together, they begin to connect the dots in a mystery where the stakes get higher at every turn, and that brings about questions of who has betrayed them—and who will die next. Using his inimitable blend of smarts and size, Reacher will stop at nothing to uncover the truth and protect the members of his unit. If there’s one thing Reacher and his team know for certain, it’s that you do not mess with the Special Investigators. This season, get ready for Reacher and the 110th to hit back hard.

Reacher Season 2 Non-Spoiler Review

OK, I’m just going to start by saying wow! Going into this season of Reacher I had very high expectations after how good the first one was. Well, the new season did meet those expectations and more. Starring Alan Ritchson, Maria Sten, Serinda Swan, Shaun Sipos, Domenick Lombardozzi, Ferdinand Kingsley, and Robert Patrick; this series did not miss a beat. Taking place a few years after season one, Reacher and his team from the 110th find themselves being hunted but the hunters realize very fast that you don’t mess with the 110th Special Investigators. Im not going to go into many more details because you are going to want to watch it yourself and if you are like me you hate spoilers.

Reacher season 2 is full of action, mystery, humor, and suspense, but what I love about this season is how well the actors work together. Not only do the actors sell this series, but the creative team put it together so well that you don’t even need to watch the first season to understand what is going on. Also, there are some fun little easter eggs in the series and if you are a Terminator fan you’ll see what I mean.

Reacher Season 2 will be released on Prime Video on December 15.

My Final Thoughts

If you liked the first season of Reacher then you are going to love season 2. Alan Ritchson knocks his role as Jack Reacher out of the park. Maria Sten, Serinda Swan, and Shaun Sipos also do a great job in their roles and help give you a different side of Reacher that helps us understand how he is. I was lucky enough to watch all eight episodes and the only negative thing I have to say is that I wish there was more. This series, just like season one was written so well you don’t want to stop watching. Thank god we know that we are getting a season three. Reacher season 2 is a must-watch and could be one of the best series ever on Prime Video!
