Fresh off the launch of a trio of 60th anniversary specials, Doctor Who will return in just a few weeks. The sci-fi series debuts this year’s Christmas special episode “The Church on Ruby Road” December 25.

“The Church on Ruby Road” will mark Ncuti Gatwa’s first full outing as the Fifteenth Doctor, after making his debut in the anniversary episode “The Giggle.” The holiday special will also introduce Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday, confirmed to be the Doctor’s companion for the show’s upcoming 14th season.

Check out the teaser for the episode below.

While Doctor Who loves to keep plot specifics under wraps, here’s the description we have for “The Church on Ruby Road”:

Long ago on Christmas Eve, a baby was abandoned in the snow. Today, Ruby Sunday meets the Doctor, stolen babies, goblins and perhaps the secret of her birth.

In addition to Gatwa and Gibson, the episode’s confirmed cast includes Davina McCall (as herself), Michelle Greenidge (as Carla Sunday), Angela Wynter (as Cherry Sunday) and Anita Dobson (as Mrs. Flood).

At a blue carpet world premiere screening, the stars took over the London Eye, lighting up the ferris wheel with the colors of Doctor Who’s time vortex.
