It looked like HBO and Max were going to wither away and cut content continually; but that looks to have changed a bit today. They’ve signed a deal with A24 that brings the award-winning entertainment company’s theatrical film slate exclusively to HBO, Max, and Cinemax.

The first films to go to the streaming giant under the new deal are Dream Scenario and the upcoming Love Lies Bleeding. As for the other films in A24’s library, there isn’t a set date for when they’ll be streaming. Dream Scenario is currently in theaters and stars Nicolas Cage as Paul; a man who gets caught up in viral fame because he starts showing up in people’s dreams around the world. That turns into a nightmare for him as the fame crushes him and people start having adverse reactions to seeing him in public.

Some of the other films to debut on the service are Dicks: The Musical, The Iron Claw, and Civil War.

Here’s what EVP, Content Acquisitions, Warner Bros Discovery Royce Battleman had to say:

“Continuing our relationship with A24 to bring award-winning movies alongside recent fan-favorites to subscribers adds incredible value to the HBO and Max value proposition. The diverse range of stories that come from the A24 pipeline make this partnership so impactful for our audience.”

A24 previously had a deal with Showtime for their movies to air on that network and streaming service. Now, all the A24 movies will eventually air on Max, HBO, and Cinemax.
