One of the most talked about films of the year will officially make its streaming debut later this month. Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn will premiere on Prime Video December 22.

The film stars Barry Keoghan as Oliver Quick and Jacob Elordi as Felix Catton. The extended cast also features Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant, Alison Oliver, Archie Madekwe, and Carey Mulligan.

Here’s the official synopsis from Amazon MGM Studios:

Academy Award winning filmmaker Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman) brings us a beautifully wicked tale of privilege and desire. Struggling to find his place at Oxford University, student Oliver Quick finds himself drawn into the world of the charming and aristocratic Felix Catton, who invites him to Saltburn, his eccentric family’s sprawling estate, for a summer never to be forgotten.

Saltburn comes from writer/director Fennell, who previously won an Oscar for writing 2021’s Promising Young Woman. This new feature has also been getting a lot of awards buzz; we expect it will rake in quite a few nominations as we head into awards season. Plus, suffice it to say this is the kind of movie that people have strong opinions about and want to talk over. Don’t let it get spoiled for you – see it soon!
