Disneyland Park in California has seen a pickup in the amount of Star Wars content and activities in recent years. Since Disney bought Lucasfilm, they’ve expanded the park with Galaxy’s Edge and re-done Star Tours. Now, the park is expanding even more with a two month long celebration of all things Star Wars. From April 5th to June 2nd, 2024, Season of the Force will celebrate the Star Wars saga.
Some of the details from Disney and Star Wars include a change from Space Mountain to Hyperspace Mountain. This comes along with specially themed food and beverage, merchandise items, and more. During the celebration, there’ll also be new adventures for Star Tours – The Adventure Continues. Galaxy’s Edge will also provide new fireworks above Disneyland Park with music from A Galaxy Far, Far Away.

Star Wars Changes Disneyland For The Better
If you haven’t been to Disneyland Park, you’re missing out on some amazing immersion in Galaxy’s Edge and other parts of the park. Star Tours is no longer the vomit-inducing motion ride, instead putting guests and travelers on a smoother ride through famous locales and events in the Star Wars universe.
The main event, though is Rise of the Resistance. The state-of-the-art theme park ride features a trackless system that takes you through multiple locations and immerses you in the battle for the fate of the Galaxy from the sequel films. You’re taken from a transport, captured by the First Order, and then tasked for a daring escape. You can read more about the ride in our review here!
