Get in, loser. We’re going to the Mean Girls pop-up.
In January, the Mean Girls musical film will officially premiere in theaters. And to get fans excited and immersed in the world of North Shore High School, Bucket Listers will also launch a special Mean Girls Experience pop-up.
The pop-up will take place in both New York and Los Angeles, and feature themed food and drinks, photo ops, and even your own Candy Gram (unless you’re Gretchen Weiners, BYE!).
“There was nothing more grool than the chance to bring the world of Mean Girls to life,” says Bucket Listers President of Experiences, Derek Berry. “It’s truly one of those movies that has stood the test of time and cult fandom. With the new film quickly approaching, there was no better time to honor this beloved classic and bring The Plastics’ world to life. Every day here will be October 3rd.”
The food at the Mean Girls Experience will include a variety of dishes created by Master Chef semi-finalist Chef Becky Brown. You can expect options like the Burn Book Burger Sliders, the Stab Caesar Salad, the 1 3 5 Acai Bowl, the Rainbow + Smiles Cake, Is Butter a Carb? Cookies, and the Fetch Strudel.
While at the pop-up, you can…
- Roam the Halls of North Shore High
- Indulge in the cafeteria and sip at the Cool Mom Bar
- Leave your mark in the Burn Book
- Gaze into Regina’s Bedroom Mirror
- Strike a pose on stage at the Winter Talent Show
- Join the ranks of the Mathletes
- Brush up on your knowledge at the Museum of Mean Girls
- Shop for exclusive Mean Girls Experience merchandise
The exact dates and timed tickets for the LA and NYC pop-up locations will be announced soon. The Mean Girls Experience is expected to launch around the premiere date for the film, January 12. Tickets start at $35 and include one entrée, one side, a Candy Cane Gram, and a 90-minute table reservation. Join the NYC or LA waitlist to be the first to know when tickets go on sale.
About Mean Girls
From the comedic mind of Tina Fey comes a new twist on the modern classic, MEAN GIRLS. New student Cady Heron (Angourie Rice) is welcomed into the top of the social food chain by the elite group of popular girls called “The Plastics,” ruled by the conniving queen bee Regina George (Reneé Rapp) and her minions Gretchen (Bebe Wood) and Karen (Avantika). However, when Cady makes the major misstep of falling for Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels (Christopher Briney) she finds herself prey in Regina’s crosshairs. As Cady sets to take down the group’s apex predator with the help of her outcast friends Janis (Auli’i Cravalho) and Damian (Jaquel Spivey), she must learn how to stay true to herself while navigating the most cutthroat jungle of all: high school.
