Bad Bunny celebrating his victory over Damian Priest at Backlash 2023 from Puerto Rico.

WWE would seem to start a new tradition in holding WWE Backlash outside of the states, as with this event it will be back-to-back years the premium live event is held outside of the states. Backlash 2023 was held at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The event would become the highest-grossing and most-viewed Backlash in company history. That event hosted the double main event of Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes, the first of their trilogy, along with the fantastically booked Street Fight between Puerto Ricans Damian Priest vs Bad Bunny.

With the 2024 edition of Backlash in France, could we see another France/Europe area superstar be among the top matches for the event? Follow WWE and check back to THS for more additional information to be announced in the coming weeks.
