Do you love the hijinks and shenanigans of a classic body swap story? Then you won’t want to miss Netflix’s Family Switch.

The upcoming comedy spins out the body swap trope into a story that truly affects the whole family. As in, everyone ends up switching places – even the baby and the family dog.

Here’s the official synopsis from Netflix:

Jess and Bill Walker are doing their best to keep their family connected as their children grow older, more independent, and more distant. When a chance encounter with an astrological reader causes the family to wake up to a full body switch, on the morning of the most important day of each of their lives, can the Walkers unite to land a promotion, college interview, record deal and soccer tryout?

Family Switch stars Jennifer Garner (who’s no stranger to playing a teen trapped in an adult body, thanks to 13 Going on 30) as matriarch Jess; Ed Helms (The Hangover movies) as father Bill; and Emma Myers (Wednesday) and Brady Noon (Mighty Ducks: Game Changers) as their teen kids. The film also stars Bashir Salahuddin, Matthias Schweighöfer, Xosha Roquemore, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Paul Scheer, Fortune Feimster, and Rita Moreno.

Family Switch is based on the book Bedtime For Mommy by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. Victoria Strouse and Adam Sztykiel adapted the story to screen. McG directs.
