Get ready to be full of rage and some love. Lisa Frankenstein has a new teaser trailer showing off the two stars in Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse. Check it out above!

The horror-comedy comes from acclaimed writer Diablo Cody, who penned 2009’s cult classic Jennifer’s Body. Focus Features describes the movie as “a coming of RAGE story” about a misunderstood teenager and her high school crush, who happens to be a handsome corpse. After a set of playfully horrific circumstances bring him back to life, the two embark on a murderous journey to find love, happiness… and a few missing body parts along the way.

Kathryn Newton stars as Lisa Swallows and Cole Sprouse as “The Creature”. It was written by Diablo Cody, who’s known for Juno and Jennifer’s Body. It also stars Liza Soberano, Henry Eikenberry, Joe Chrest, and Carla Gugino. The film is the directorial debut for Zelda Williams, Robin Williams’ daughter. Williams described Cody’s screenplay as “the most bonkers, wonderful zombie script I’ve ever read.” Williams previously directed several music videos, as well as the short film Kappa Kappa Die. Cody won an Academy Award for her Juno screenplay, and also produces Lisa Frankenstein alongside Mason Novick. Jeffrey Lampert executive produces.

Lisa Frankenstein premieres in theaters on February 9th, 2024.
