Netflix‘s upcoming live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender is a bit up in the air at the moment. Oh, we know that it’s going to happen, but I’m more talking about how good or bad it will be when we do finally get to see it. You know, since the original creators of the animated series Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko left production early on, and whatnot? That’s usually not a good sign for any adaptation, let alone something as high profile as this one. Fortunately, Netflix looks like they’re trying to hype up this adaptation a lot in anticipation of that. How else do you explain all these new first-look images Netflix has just released? Featuring the Fire Nation to boot?
