Welcome to this week’s installment of That Hashtag Show’s What To Watch, a viewing guide for new releases from this week and the upcoming weekend. I will attempt to hit all of the major new releases across theatres, television, and streaming. But of course, if I’ve missed something, please let me know in the comments. Also, be sure to let us know what you are watching this weekend in the comments or on social media.

WATCH TO WATCH: THEATRE RELEASES

We are halfway through October and to continue the spooky season we even get a Friday the 13th. With all that you’d think we’d have a handful of new horror movies releasing this week. Well, as it turns out, this is the weekend Taylor Swift (aka Travis Kelce’s new girlfriend) has her The Eras Tour hitting theatres. This seemingly has frightened off all other newcomers from any major releases this week. Though depending on your perspective a theatre full of Swifties singing and screaming along with the concert might just be your idea of horror.

CREEPSHOW SEASON 4

The new season of Creepshow is taking full advantage of the Friday the 13th date and releasing all 6 episodes on Shudder. The series from Greg Nicotero and Co. on Shudder takes the spirit of Stephen King and George Romero‘s Creepshow and expands upon it for six double features a season. Our THS review of the new season found it to be a worthy anthology for audiences to enjoy this Halloween season.

If you’re in the mood for some new twists on classic horror vibes, this fourth season of Creepshow will satisfy most horror fans. The monsters are plentiful, the frights are there, and it’s a chilling time on Shudder.
