After teasing a new album announcement last week, Judas Priest confirmed to the world at their Power Trip show that they have a new album coming titled Invincible Shield in March of 2024. Now, they’ve officially shown off the first single from the album, “Panic Attack”. It’s a bit of a different style than their previous effort Firepower. It still has that ripping Judas Priest sound, but with some more technical aspects and a bit more bit to the lyrics. Check out the track above.
Judas Priest is currently dormant on the road, waiting for 2024 to roll around. They embarked on their 50 Heavy Metal Years tour in 2022. The only concert date they’ve played and will play in 2023 was Power Trip. They played a headlining setlist of 19 tracks in Indio, California, alongside Iron Maiden, Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Tool, and AC/DC.
