Surprisingly, there’s not that many high fantasy stories in the anime world, but The Fire Hunter is one of the exceptions. This anime adaptation of the fantasy novels of the same name by Rieko Hinata is definitely crafting a Tolkien-esque fantasy adventure for its tale of a young Fire Hunter named Touko. As you can tell by its 4.4 out of 5 rating on Crunchyroll, people seem to like this high fantasy story. So much so that you can see why it’s getting a season 2.
The Fire Hunter Season 2: Details
Crunchyroll confirms that The Fire Hunter is getting a season 2. Apparently, this high fantasy anime by studio Signal.MD (Atom: The Beginning, Recovery of an MMO Junkie, Platinum End) will make its debut sometime in January 2024. Alas, we have no word yet if Crunchyroll is going to stream it just like they did with season 1. We’ll just have to wait for Crunchyroll to give us that news later. Tune back in to THS later to get that news when we hear about it.
In the meantime, you can watch The Fire Hunter season 1 only on Crunchyroll.
Bonus: Synopsis
