New York Comic Con (NYCC 2023) will feature much in the way of anime content, including from Toei Animation. This storied animation studio has been responsible for some of the most famous anime series like Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Digimon; after all. Thus, it’s only natural that they would want to showcase them at NYCC 2023.
Toei Animation at NYCC 2023: Details
Toei Animation is proud to announce their return to NYCC 2023 with a catalogue of what they have planned for their booth there. Of course, you can expect their anime there, but they want to be specific this year. Apparently, they wish to showcase Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Digimon at their booth. They’ll even have a Toei Animation X Dim Mak Pop-Up Shop (Booth #2821) that will sell “a curated selection of merchandise, including apparel, skate decks and enamel pins” from those anime series, including some merch showcasing “all-new One Piece Gear Five designs”.

- Goku – 21’ tall giant character balloon. **Worldwide Debut**
- Flying Nimbus Cloud photo op.
- Agumon and Gabumon life-sized statues display.
- “Digimon Adventure 02 The Beginning” movie mural wall.
- Digimon Card Game demo play area.
- GIF green screen photobooth – Create a personalized four-picture GIF using a variety of backgrounds from Dragon Ball, One Piece and “Digimon Adventure 02 The Beginning.”
Daily Giveaways – Free special prize items while supplies last for fans that post their GIF and their pictures with Goku or Agumon & Gabumon on social media, using the hashtag #TA_NYCC.
