The former TBS Champion Jade Cargill ended all speculation as WWE, part of the TKO Group Holdings; today announced it has come to terms on a multi-year contract for the star.

Jade Cargill heads to WWE.

Cargill, a standout performer who has earned accolades as an industry-renowned talent; will begin training today at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. With a collegiate background in basketball, she would head to AEW (All Elite Wrestling) with her first major program featuring herself, Shaquille O’Neal, Cody and Brandi Rhodes.

She would go onto be a focal point for the Women’s division becoming the first AEW TBS champion. She would hold onto the title for 508 days while amassing an incredible 60-0-win streak. The biggest question WWE will have to answer is how they will introduce her and what trajectory they will place her on as given her exposure on AEW weekly television the logical step would have her debut on Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SMACKDOWN.

Honestly, the best option for her will be debut and continue her development on SMACKDOWN. Outside of Iyo Sky and Asuka the women’s division is pretty low in top feuds. I know many would prefer for her to head to RAW, but they have Rhea Ripley vs so many others already in the pipeline, like Bianca Belair, Nia Jax and ultimately Becky Lynch so give Rhea time to feud with them before we fantasy book Jade vs Rhea. While on SMACKDOWN, you can build her up like her run in AEW which will lead to her winning the championship from Iyo Sky while also giving her a fantastic match partner.

This also gives them more creative freedom because if you have Jade win the title, you can have her defend against Charlotte Flair who is the litmus test for Womens wrestling in the company. Or if you think/want her first major title win to be at the biggest event of the year, you can have her win the Women’s Royal Rumble in January and then depending on the feuds have her match up with Rhea Ripley or Charlotte Flair in Philadelphia. The matchups and feuds are endless, and WWE has one of the best and upcoming superstars ready to have the rocket attached to her.
