The fantasy comedy cooking manga Delicious in Dungeon by Ryōko Kui will soon get its anime adaptation from Studio Trigger (Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners). Thus, it’s rather appropriate that the manga is ending this week as of this writing. Now, the Studio Trigger doesn’t have to wait for the manga to end. Don’t believe me? Then let’s find out more about the conclusion to this manga together, shall we?
Delicious in Dungeon Manga: Final Chapter Details
Harta is the Japanese magazine Delicious in Dungeon is serialized in, which explains why they’re making this announcement. On Harta’s official Twitter account, they recently posted a Tweet revealing that this week’s issue chapter of Delicious in Dungeon (Dungeon Meshi in Japan) will be the last. Based on the list of chapters of that manga not yet collected in tankoubon manga volume form, Ch. 96 “Falin 4” will be the final chapter to debut in Harta Issue #107. Said issue will make its Japanese debut on September 15, 2023. Thus, it won’t be long now until we read about the final adventures of Laios and his party’s culinary dungeon trek.
Fortunately, there is good news here. Even though the manga will soon end, at least we have the anime adaptation to look forwards to. Alas, we don’t have a more specific release date than January 2024. According to Crunchyroll, that anime will air on Netflix, but that’s it as far as release details. Tune back into to THS to find out more Delicious in Dungeon news when we get it.
