Attack on Titan will soon debut the finale episode of the anime on November 5, 2023. No, really. They mean it this time after all the final season episodes beforehand. When Attack on Titan Final Season The Final Chapters (Part 2) finally makes its debut, it will bring the anime adaptation of the hit manga of the same name by Hajime Isayama to its dramatic conclusion. This is probably why Kodansha wants to host an after-party for that finale that everyone around the world can take part in. All in a cruise ship to boot. How so? Well, let’s find out, shall we?
Anime Finale Commemoration Attack on Titan Worldwide After Party: Details
Kodansha is proud to announce that they will host an Anime Finale Commemoration Attack on Titan Worldwide After Party. This is to commemorate not only the upcoming finale of Attack on Titan, but also to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the anime‘s broadcast. Yes, it really has been 10 years since this anime first made its debut back in 2013. It’s been a nice long run for this anime, so Kodansha wants it to go out with a bang.
So what’s going to happen for this Anime Finale Commemoration Attack on Titan Worldwide After Party? Well, to start off: it’s a cruise ship party. Not a physical cruise ship, mind you. It will be a digital online cruise ship. Apparently, this after-party operates much like an MMORPG, with you controlling a player character to explore a 3D world, which includes that digital cruise ship. Said cruise ship will apparently comprise at least 3 levels, each themed after the anime. 4, if you include the docks. However, it’s the ship itself that will be the main attraction, since it contains “opening party, special shows hosted by the anime staff and cast, and a grand finale featuring a live performance of iconic songs“. You can also explore character cabins on the ship for more goodies.
The Anime Finale Commemoration Attack on Titan Worldwide After Party will open its virtual doors on November 4, 2023 and last until November 8, 2023. There will be a catch-up stream from November 9 to November 20, 2023; but you can’t communicate with other participants in this stream. It’s literally just to catch everyone up on the after-party after the fact. You can purchase tickets for this after-party on its official website. You can also access a test version of the after-party on that website, which lets you explore the docks.
