Princess and the Frog fans, we’re almost there. Tiana’s Palace will open at Disneyland Park on September 7!
The restaurant draws inspiration from the animated character’s dream New Orleans eatery. From the Mardi Gras-inspired color palette to the lily details throughout, the restaurant’s elegant decor and interior will include subtle references to Tiana’s story. Keep your eyes peeled to spot frog porcelains, Tiana’s favorite cookbooks, and her father’s gumbo spoon on display.
Tiana’s Palace replaces the French Market Restaurant formerly in the space. The updated menu will also feature new items honoring the flavors and flair of New Orleans, with an effort to source some ingredients directly from the state of Louisiana when possible. The full list of menu items hasn’t been revealed yet, so check back here for more updates.
Tiana’s Palace will be a “quick-service” style restaurant. When it opens in September, guests will also be able to mobile-order from the location with the Disneyland app. The grand re-opening will also feature the return of the Mint Julep Bar.
Of course, Tiana’s Palace is just one of the major Princess and the Frog updates headed to Disney Parks. Both Disneyland and Disney World are currently working on transforming the ride Splash Mountain into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The updated ride will follow Tiana and Naveen on a new journey, taking place after the final scene of the film. Guests will join the pair as they plan a one-of-a-kind Mardi Gras celebration, all while navigating the bayou full of Tiana’s animal friends. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open in 2024.
Until then, stay tuned for more Disney Parks updates.
