There is nothing like the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. The food, the parades, the entertainment, and the energy is at an all-time high! So, it’s even more exciting that the Disneyland Resort has announced that the Holidays return on Nov. 10, 2023, through Jan. 7, 2024!

I can’t wait! I will be tasting my way through the Festival of Holidays! Then riding The Nightmare Before Christmas Haunted Mansion before crying at the Holiday World of Color. Who’s with me?

So, here’s what you need to know about the upcoming Holiday Celebration!

Disney California Adventure brings Festival of Holidays

Disney Festival of Holidays is a celebration of holidays from around the world. You can enjoy food, entertainment, and more inspired by Christmas, Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day.

At the Disney Festival of Holiday’s marketplaces, you can try new and returning favorite food and beverage items. There will also be music and dance performances at the Palisades Stage, Sonoma Terrace, and the Hollywood Backlot. And for the first time, you can dance along as Disney and Pixar characters march to the beat of the Holiday Toy Drummers in “Mickey’s Happy Holidays.”

You can also purchase a Sip and Savor Pass! This offers eight entitlement tabs that can be redeemed for select food and nonalcoholic beverages from several marketplaces and participating dining locations in Disney California Adventure. Each Sip and Savor Pass is valid for the entirety of the Disney Festival of Holidays. You can also share it amongst friends and family.

Fan favorite Disney ¡Viva Navidad! will return to Paradise Gardens Park for its tenth season! On top of which, this year you can taste your way through an all-new menu at Paradise Garden Grill. Then, watch the Three Caballeros as they host a joyous street party, featuring Mexican folklórico dancers and mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, giant mojiganga puppets.

Additional festivities in this area will include live music and dancing, visits with beloved Disney characters, and special appearances by Mirabel from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto.”

ALL THE FESTIVE DECOR THROUGHOUT DISNEYLAND RESORT!

Disneyland Resort is the perfect place to enjoy wintertime decorations and twinkling lights. The entire resort is decorated for the holidays! You can see Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle, a gingerbread house, and Christmas trees all decked out in festive attire. And with a bit of Disney magic, “snow” falls every night in select areas of Disneyland Park!

In addition to the decorations, many of Disneyland’s attractions also receive a holiday overlay. “it’s a small world” Holiday features a wintery version of the classic boat ride. The Haunted Mansion Holiday is transformed into a frightfully festive experience featuring Jack Skellington from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.”

For even more holiday cheer, be sure to check out Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree, two seasonal attractions that are sure to put a smile on your face.

SEASONAL SPECTACULARS AND HOLIDAY ENTERTAINMENT

Mickey Mouse and his friends will be wearing ALL-NEW outfits inspired by mid-century modern design at Disneyland Park during the holiday season. You can also meet Santa Claus in the park through Dec. 24. Enjoy festive entertainment, such as the “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” featuring your favorite characters from Disney Animation’s “Frozen,” Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story” and many more.

Then, get your spot on Main Street for the “Believe…In Holiday Magic” nighttime spectacular. If you want to add even more holiday magic to your trip, you can take the Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour.

Then over in Disney California Adventure Park, “World of Color – Season of Light” will fill Paradise Bay with the spirit of togetherness and love as hundreds of fountains illustrate warm moments from Disney animated films.

It’s sure to be a MAGICAL Holiday Season!
