Fans of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are eagerly awaiting the release of the new film, Mutant Mayhem. The film will hit theatres on August 2, 2023. Ahead of its release, Paramount has released a brand new featurette that explores the inspiration behind the iconic Turtles. The new video features TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman who shares the story behind the original creation of the characters. The featurette also gives fans a look at how the history of TMNT inspired the new animated film. Fans of the characters will enjoy hearing how the creative team behind the new film was inspired by their love of TMNT. In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, after years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
The film stars Nicolas Cantu (Leonardo), Sharon Brown Jr. (Mikey), Micah Abbey (Donnie), Brady Noon (Raph), and Jackie Chan (Splinter).
