It appears that we just got a new official trailer for the latest upcoming Marvel Studios film: The Marvels. You know, in spite of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike as of this writing. Well, I guess Marvel Studios managed to finish production of the film just enough to release that official trailer for it. It even includes a release date, suggesting that they managed to wrap production up just before the strike. Don’t believe me? Then why not watch that official trailer below, and see if it might motivate you to watch it when the strike hopefully ends in favor of the strikers?

THE MARVELS OFFICIAL TRAILER

The premise of this film is basically how many Marvels can you fit into a story and still have it be coherent?

Marvel Studios has just released this official trailer for The Marvels above on YouTube. Said official trailer depicts Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (played by Brie Larson) having to team up with Monica Rambeau (played by Teyonah Parris) and Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel (played by Iman Vellani). Why? Well, it’s not exactly intentional on Captain Marvel’s part. Apparently, one of her adversaries managed to somehow curse her with trading places with Monica and Ms. Marvel every time any of them use their powers. All as part of some revenge scheme due to Captain Marvel somehow destroying the villain’s home, apparently. The trailer doesn’t give any further details than that.

It’s not the revenge scheme that’s entertaining about this The Marvels trailer though. It’s the chaos caused by the constant involuntary teleportation between the various Marvels. Also, the cat. The kitty is cute and terrifying and is possibly not even a cat at all. The trailer doesn’t explain this either.

Fortunately, it’s not that long a wait until we find out more about the teleportation hijinks and the tentacle kitty. The end of that official trailer reveals that The Marvels will make its theatrical debut on November 10, 2023. Unfortunately, tickets aren’t on sale yet. However, you can check for when those tickets become available at Fandango. Or you can wait for it to come out in Disney+.
