My Bloody Valentine was a rarity on Blu-ray for the longest time. The uncut version of the film was thought to have been lost, but Scream Factory gave us an excellent-quality transfer on Blu-ray. Now, they’re back with a gorgeous 4K Ultra HD transfer of the film with some goodies.
If you haven’t seen the movie, here’s the synopsis.
A decades-old folk tale surrounding a deranged murderer killing those who celebrate Valentine’s Day turns out to be true to legend when a group defies the killer’s order and people start turning up dead.
In a world without very many slashers, particularly holiday-themed ones, My Bloody Valentine laid the groundwork for a boom in popularity for the genre.
