Fans of the Shonen Jump manga Undead Unluck might’ve heard that David Production (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Cells at Work!, Fire Force) and TMS Entertainment (Lupin the Third, Akira, Fruits Basket) are making an anime adaptation of it. Well, now it seems that they have revealed which streaming platform said anime will stream on. Said choice of streaming platform may be good news or bad news for you, depending on how much you like Hulu, and Hulu only.
Undead Unluck: A Hulu Exclusive
Hulu is proud to announce that the anime adaptation of the Shonen Jump manga Undead Unluck by Yoshifumi Tozuka will be a Hulu exclusive. All due to them acquiring the rights for this anime series. According to them, this “action-packed” supernatural adventure comedy anime will premiere on Hulu sometime in October 2023. Unfortunately, they don’t get any more specific than that. We’ll just have to wait for Hulu to tell us that later.
Fortunately, there is something else Hulu is telling us about Undead Unluck. According to them, they’re planning a special preview of this anime at Anime Expo 2023. Specifically: this preview will take place at Hulu’s interactive Entertainment Hall from July 1 to July 4, 2023. There will even be a special event where fans can “get the chance to exclusively join the Union and capture their moment at the renowned roundtable of Negators”. Hulu doesn’t specify what this means. Tune back in to THS later to find that out if we do.
